Louis Donnet BJORN
A talented author and painter
Louis DONNET (1907-1989), MD, a talented author and painter, created the method of “sensory painting” by adapting the techniques of mural painting to his work on canvas or panels.
He signed his work “L.D. BJORN” while the coating was still fresh and malleable, which means that his signature is often in counter-relief, integrated into the painting’s subject.
On the back can be found his round stamp indicating in its center “L.D. BJORN” and on the rim “* LA MALADRERIE DE BEYNES * 78 – FRANCE”
Nuances & Fulgurances
Under the name “NUANCES et FULGURANCES”, the gallery is managed online by Mr. Alain Bérus from his Quercy house in Frayssinet (46310), located in the Lot department, in the Occitanie region, near the towns of Cahors, Saint-Cirq-Lapopie and Rocamadour, in France.
A special place has been reserved for the painter Louis Donnet, who signed his work L.D. BJORN, featuring exclusively certified originals.
The aim is to pay homage to this exceptional man that offered a partnership to the young Alain in the 1970s, in order to improve their methods and work techniques in his workshop located in Maladrerie de Beynes (Yvelines, France).
